405 E. Oak Street is a 1940s Craftsman style kit home and was moved 25 miles from Firestone, Colo. by Tom Whitlock in 1998. The abandoned house was placed on a vacant lot and a new basement foundation with a gut renovation commenced. Subsequent owners replaced the historic windows and finished the basement.
The 2,200 sq. ft. Firestone House is in the First Union neighborhood and sits next-door to the Lewis House which was the farmhouse for the Home Dairy.
