405 E. Oak Street is a 1940s Craftsman style kit home and was moved 25 miles from Firestone, Colo. by Tom Whitlock in 1998. It was placed on a new basement foundation and gut renovated by Doug Conarroe. Subsequent owners replaced the historic windows and finished the basement.
The 2,200 sq. ft. Firestone House is in the First Union neighborhood and sits next-door to the Lewis House which was the farmhouse for the Home Dairy.
